The story behind the mission
Confidence became more than a message. It became a mission.
Marilyn Brown founded The Confidence Foundation from a deep desire to see women understand that difficult experiences, limited resources, or seasons of uncertainty do not have to determine the rest of their lives. She believes a woman can rebuild, grow, and move forward when she is surrounded by encouragement, practical tools, meaningful opportunities, and people who are willing to walk beside her.
For Marilyn, confidence is not simply about appearance or positive thinking. It is about helping a woman recognize her value, strengthen her voice, make healthier decisions, develop life-changing skills, and believe that a different future is possible. That belief became the heartbeat of The Confidence Foundation.
Why The Foundation Exists
Marilyn envisioned a place where women could receive more than temporary encouragement. She wanted to create an organization that could equip women with mentorship, education, resources, confidence-building experiences, and practical support that helps them take real steps toward stability, growth, leadership, and self-sufficiency.
As an inspirational speaker, author, entrepreneur, ministry leader, educator, and community advocate, Marilyn brings together her passion for service, leadership, faith, and personal development. Her work centers on creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, challenged to grow, and reminded that their story is still being written.

Our goal is to bless 5 mothers and their children this Christmas with gifts, gift cards, blankets, food, and clothing.
